What we collect, and what we never touch.
Last updated 17 September 2026 · applies to nexport.app and to the CourseKeep browser extension
The short version
- ✓We collect your email address, when you register. That is the only personal information we hold.
- ✓Payments are handled by Polar, who are the seller of record. They hold the billing details; we never see a card number.
- ✗We never receive, store or transmit your course content. It goes from your own browser straight into your own Notion.
- ✗No advertising, no tracking pixels, no analytics that follow you, and nothing sold or shared for marketing.
The rest of this page says the same thing in more detail. If anything below contradicts this summary, the detail wins — but it should not, and if you find that it does, please tell us.
Who we are
Nexport is an independent software project operated by Majdi El-Jazmawi. CourseKeep is a browser extension published by Nexport. Contact for anything on this page, including a request to delete your data: support@nexport.app.
What the extension does with your content
This is the part most people are actually asking about, so it comes first.
When you archive a community, CourseKeep reads the pages you are already signed in to and already able to open, and writes them into the Notion workspace you connected. That content travels from your browser to Notion's API directly. It does not pass through any server belonging to us, because there is no server of ours in that path.
Files and videos are downloaded by your own browser to your own machine, using Chrome's ordinary download mechanism.
We cannot read your archived course content, and we could not hand it to anyone if we were asked. We never have a copy of it.
What we collect
| What | When | Why | Held by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address | When you register on nexport.app for the free trial or for launch news | To start your trial, to send you your licence key, and to tell you when the extension is live | Us, in our database |
| Billing details | Only if you buy | To take the payment and issue your licence key | Polar and their payment provider. Never us. |
| Licence key | Only if you buy | To unlock the paid features on your machine | Stored locally in your browser; checked against Polar |
| Trial counters | While you are on the free trial | To count the one community, the 30 archives and the seven days | Only your own browser. These are never sent anywhere. |
What we do not collect
- Your course content, your Notion pages, or anything you archive
- Your Notion integration key — it is stored in your browser and sent only to Notion
- Your Skool login, password or session
- Browsing history, or any activity on sites other than the archiving you start yourself
- Card numbers or payment details
- Your name, address, phone number or location
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone's advertising. Your email address reaches exactly three companies, each doing one job for us:
| Company | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Hosts the database your email address is stored in |
| Vercel | Hosts this website and runs the form that receives your registration |
| Polar | Sells the product as seller of record, takes payment, and issues licence keys. Polar receives your email only if you buy. |
We will also hand over information if the law genuinely requires it. Given what we hold, that would be an email address and a purchase record — nothing about what you archived, because we do not have it.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays until you ask us to remove it. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is Polar's obligation as seller of record as much as ours.
Everything the extension stores on your machine — trial counters, your licence key, your Notion key — is removed when you uninstall the extension or clear its storage. That is your browser's doing, not ours; we are not involved and cannot see it either way.
Your rights
Email support@nexport.app and we will action any of these. There is no form and no account to log into.
- See it — ask what we hold about you, and we will send it
- Correct it — tell us the right email address
- Delete it — ask us to remove you, and we will
- Stop the emails — every email has an unsubscribe link, and asking us directly works too
If you are in the UK, the EU, or anywhere with similar rules, these rights are yours by law and not by our goodwill. Our lawful basis is the agreement between us — we hold your email address in order to give you the thing you registered for.
Children
This is a tool for people who pay for online courses. It is not designed for or directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Where your data lives
The website, the database and the payment processor are all operated outside Saudi Arabia, and your email address is stored on their infrastructure — principally in the United States and the European Union. Registering means you are content for it to be handled there.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and does not use an analytics product that follows you between sites.
Changes to this page
If we change what we collect, we will change this page and move the date at the top. If a change is significant — if we start collecting something new — we will email anyone on the list rather than quietly editing the text.
A word about Skool and Notion
Nexport and CourseKeep are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Skool or Notion in any way. CourseKeep is a personal backup tool for content you are a member of and can already open. What you do with your own archive is between you and whoever you bought the course from.
